While the mobile interface has limited functionality compared to the full desktop experience, it provides access to the two most important features for managing your money on the go:
1. Check Your Category Balances
Before you make a purchase, you can quickly check how much money you have available in each category. This helps ensure that you're only spending money you've already set aside for that purpose, keeping your budget on track.
2. Log New Transactions Instantly
Just made a purchase? Log it right away. The mobile version makes it easy to enter new transactions so your budget stays up to date and accurate. No more guessing or forgetting where your money went.
Add a Shortcut to Your Home Screen
To make accessing Peak Budget on the go even easier, you can add a shortcut to your phone's home screen. This gives you an app-like experience with just one tap.
On iOS (Safari):
- Open app.peakbudget.com/mobile in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (square with arrow).
- Select Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top right.
On Android (Chrome):
- Open app.peakbudget.com/mobile in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen.
- Confirm by tapping Add.
Now Peak Budget will be just a tap away—just like a native app.
Use a Desktop for Full Budget Management
For tasks like adjusting goals, assigning funds, or reviewing financial reports, we recommend using the full desktop experience. The mobile version is intentionally lightweight so you can focus on the essentials while you’re out and about.
